Chief Executive Officer / Shariah Advisor, CSAA

Islamic Finance and Shariah advisor with extensive professional experience in structuring Islamic financial products, Shariah risks, governance and compliance, financial technology, and legal compliance. He has served as a Shariah and legal compliance officer and as a Shariah advisor at several financial and investment institutions.

He holds a Master of Science in Islamic Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Shariah, specializing in Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh. He is also a Certified Shari’ah Adviser and Auditor (CSAA) accredited by the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI).

Fatwa Researcher and Head of Fatwa Communications at the Office of the Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman. He is also a member of the Shariah Board for Oman Waqf Institution.

He holds a master’s degree in Islamic Studies, specializing in Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh. He has made several research contributions, including published peer-reviewed papers. He is a graduate of Alizz Islamic Bank’s 2024 Second-Line Shariah Supervisory Board Members Development Programme and has more than ten years of practical experience in the field of fatwa.
